Our aim is to promote vitality

Likiliike Rovaniemi is an association of local businesses and actors whose aim is to maintain the vitality of our local community and to encourage local sourcing in order to maintain the attraction of the community and its comprehensive range of services, events and products.

To become a member of Likiliike Rovaniemi, a company must be more than 50% locally owned and have its head office in Rovaniemi. In addition, the company must be registered in the Prepayment Register and Trade Register and have fulfilled all its obligations to the authorities.

Likiliike was established in 2015 as a subdivision of the Rovaniemi Entrepreneurs Association. It was founded by Rovaniemi Entrepreneurs Association, Rovaniemen Yrittäjänaiset ry and Rovaniemen Kehitys Oy. The concept design and brand design was done by Mainostoimisto Ajatus Oy with Taina Torvela as concept designer, Stina Varkkola as copywriter and Noora Kallio as graphic designer.

Later it became an independent association, Likiliike ry, which is the umbrella organisation for Likiliike Rovaniemi ry and Likiliike Sodankylä ry.

A network of nearly 200 certified local businesses and actors in Rovaniemi.

In 2023, Likiliike Rovaniemi Association has nearly 200 local companies from various industries as members. The association also has partners, which include Napapiirin Energia ja Vesi, and Wetteri.

The members have a Likiliike certificate, which gives the company a visible recognition of its local presence. Members are also entitled to use the Likiliike trademark in their marketing.

Likiliike carries out co-marketing, organises events for entrepreneurs and city residents, and administers Likiliike gift cards that can be used as a means of payment to Likiliike businesses. The association also runs the LikiAcademy, which organises training courses for Likiliike entrepreneurs.

The activities of Likiliike Rovaniemi are coordinated by a board of directors consisting of Sari Poikajärvi-Mustonen (chairperson), Paula Kormano (vice-chairperson), Mika Lehtiharju and Kati Kuha.

With their help, we work to promote sustainability, local vitality, and community well-being. We create and publicise events in Rovaniemi, organise training for member entrepreneurs and carry out marketing communications for localism.

Likiliike Rovaniemi grants Väärti partner status on an industry-specific, exclusive basis. Currently, our parners are Wetteri Rovaniemi and Napapiiri Energia and Vesi.
